Aufbau Haus - English Summary

An extraordinary synergy between contemporary artistic and creative industries, the Aufbau Haus on Berlin's Moritzplatz in Kreuzberg is an innovative new presence on the city's cultural landscape. Following a two-year construction phase, the publisher's group Aufbau Verlag (after which the building is named) recently took up residence on the upper two floors of the renewed building. Modulor, along with its numerous partner companies from the production and service realm (Planet Modulor) occupy the other four floors. The roughly 17.500 square meters of the Aufbau Haus house the TAK, (Theater Aufbau Kreuzberg), the Buchhandlung Moritzplatz, the publisher Blumenbar and Prince Charles Club, the M1 Café-Bar, Coledampf's & Companies, the Kai Dikhas Gallery, as well as the producers of mosaics, colours, textiles, wallpapers, two and three dimensional design, and photographs.  Among those are the camera IMAGO 1:1, the American, Berlin-based designer and architect Jason Danziger/thinkbuild, and also the rooftop Kindergarten Wildfang featuring sophisticated, full-day child care, and many others. contact: info@aufbauhaus.de phone: +49 30 28394117
